Motivation and Inspiration

Every one needs a little motivation or inspiration every once and awhile... here you will find some great examples of great Attitudes in action.  These videos are inspirational and motivational and are here to not only give you an example of the attitude... but are here to help you Get That Attitude!

"If You Have Never Failed... You Have Never Lived."

Dr. Napoleon Hill the author of Think and Grow Rich studied the lives of over 500 of the most successful people of his time and what he learned was the failure is an invented concept and its what we do with that failure that determines how far we will go in life.  Failure as defined by Dr. Hill is ones inaudibility or refusal to learn from ones past mistakes.  Dr. Hill had a lot to say on this topic.

"Persistence is to the character [a persons Attitude] of man as carbon is to steel."

"Before success comes in any man's life, he's sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That's exactly what the majority of men do."

"Edison failed 10, 000 times before he made the electric light. Do not be discouraged if you fail a few times."

"When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal."

You might be surprised to learn that many of the people that have helped shape the world that we live in today and how are considered to be some of the brightest minds of our time if not ever have become so in spite of changes they faced as children being labeled by  teachers as "stupid." These challenges followed them for the rest of their lives but fortunately for them and us their attitudes won out over the attitudes of others.

The True Story behind Rocky

Paragraph.

Your Music & Your Mood

Picture

Need a quick mood shift? Want to feel more motivated? Need an energy boos without getting a caffeine high?

One of the easiest ways ways to do all of the above is to listen to music.  There is an entire body of science called Music Therapy based on this concept.

The music  we choose influences our mood and the mood influences we choose.
Some studies suggest   Some  music effects our DNA and some medical studies link hard or aside rock to cancer.

When I need a good mood shift I find if helpful to put in some good music and mix it with some physical activity... like going for a jog.  Physical activity is proven to lift a mood.

I find it impossible to listen to the Rocky theme music without  feeling just a bit of what Rocky must have felt like.

Paragraph.
Its been said that if you take the five people in your life that you spend the most time with and add all their communality together... that's basically who you are and if you look at where they are in life that a good estimate of where you will be .  It might be a good time to take a look at who you are keeping company with... as its likely that that is who you are becoming. You might want to ask yourself if they are healthy, successful, and fulfilled people. I

ts interesting to note though that as important as it is who we choose to be around that we as human are much more likely to act like the people we see on TV or in movies... the younger we are the more likely this is to be true and to much greater effect.
